PERSONAL PLAN DEVELOPMENT
Teaching residents self-care and self-management skills, physical fitness, and
behavioral/emotional regulation skills to develop skills to increase independence. Provides direct care to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
and Performs personal care tasks, including assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation, medical monitoring, and health care related tasks.
COMMUNITY INCLUSION
Providing support and encouragement to research and attend local activities and events of interest in community. Teaching skills necessary to build and strengthen natural supports, as well as support to access and utilize public transportation if desired.
ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING
Building bridge adultss are professionally trained to assist residents with routine light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and cleaning., meal preparation, grocery shopping, cooking, hygiene routines, and managing personal funds. dressing, personal assistance, locomotion, toilet use, bathing, eating, and personal well-being support.
